Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee Is Brilliant
Are you a fan of the television show Seinfeld? Are you a fan of comedians, classic cars and coffee? If you said yes to the prior questions, then you will love Jerry Seinfeld’s show, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” on Crackle.
Thanks to a story on CBS Sunday Morning News months ago about Jerry Seinfeld, I was able to hear about “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”. I instantly thought to myself, well I have Crackle on my television as well as my Roku box, so why not give it a whirl and watch it. I love Jerry Seinfeld, I love stand-up comics and I love interviews. Sounded like I couldn’t go wrong.
Within a day, I watched the first two seasons! Yes, I binge watched all of it one day, along with my wife, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Thankfully, a couple of days later season three started. Perfect timing Crackle, perfect timing.
One of my favorite aspects of the show, is that everyone is themselves. They don’t play the characters you know the celebrities as (except for Miranda Sings and when Jason Alexander actually appears as George Costanza), it’s real, it’s raw and it’s absolutely amazing.
My top five favorite episodes have been:
1) Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks
2) Don Rickles
3) Ricky Gervais
4) Louis CK
5) It’s a tie between Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Fallon
It was tough to pick the last three as all of them have been phenomenal but these are the five episodes I have watched and wanted to go right back and watch again.
I am a HUGE, seriously huge, fan of Mel Brooks, Don Rickles and Carl Reiner. Who isn’t? So they really stuck out to me and had me laughing from the moment it started to the moment it ended. And yes, I was very sad when it ended. I could watch Jerry talk to these three for hours only to realize I missed lunch, dinner and probably now have serious bladder problems.
If you have access to Crackle, I implore you to watch “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” immediately. It’s funny, it’s raw, it’s real and it’s already a classic.
If you do not have access to Crackle, you have to go out and get access to it. Buy a Roku box, go to a friend’s house with a case of beer and hijack their smart TV or, better yet, head over to Crackle right now by clicking here, sign-up for FREE, login for FREE, and watch “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” for FREE. What do you have to lose? It’s FREE!
It’s been a long time where we could laugh this hard, for this long at a television show for free in this country. Why not take advantage of it?
The first episode of season three was Jerry in a car, getting coffee with Elaine herself, Julia Louis Dreyfus. What’s better than a mini Seinfeld reunion? Pretty much nothing.
And if Jerry Seinfeld happens to read this, bravo on yet another amazingly comedic project that will keep people laughing for years yet again. Also, a retweet wouldn’t be so bad either. I’m just kidding… maybe I’m not.
Now go watch “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”, come back here and let us know what you think. But honestly, I already know what you will think. YOU WILL LOVE IT!
And congratulations on the Emmy nomination everyone!
